In the field of news media communication, computer network technology has become an indispensable key element. This paper explores the application of computer network technology in news media communication from three aspects: necessity, current situation, and strategies. It is pointed out that computer network technology plays an important role in improving the efficiency of news dissemination, enriching communication forms, and promoting media integration. At present, there are still obvious shortcomings and deficiencies in the fields of technical support system, talent cultivation mechanism, and legal and regulatory construction. In the future, we should strengthen the research and development of key technologies, promote deep integration of media, improve the legal and regulatory system, strengthen the construction of media talent teams, and promote the further application of computer network technology in the field of news communication.
